Why I have never had a paneer curry before I will never know, a game changer for sure 👍
It also happens to be #nationalcurryweek ⠀
⠀
The paneer itself was the only full priced item in this meal; the naan bread, auberigne chutney ingredients, and rice were all reduced meaning this meal came to £4.20 which was enough for 4 servings (our tea yesterday and lunches today)

First I took my packet of paneer and soaked it in some hot water until needed⠀
⠀
I then made a paste with fried tomatoes and onions along with a mix of spices including garam masala, turmeric, chilli, coriander powder, and seasoning. This was then blitzed with some cashew nuts.⠀
⠀
I then fried a tbsp of garlic paste and a tbsp of ginger paste along with a clove and bay leaf with 2 tbsp of butter for a few minutes. ⠀
Added the paste back to the pan and fried for about 10 minutes. ⠀
⠀
Added in the paneer cheese after draining and warmed for another 5 minutes before serving and demolishing!
