While in lockdown I've missed sitting at the wagamama bench and ordering copious amounts of starters and sides just for me while on a ‘working lunch'. These were made to recreate this longing in lockdown and make some dumplings inspired by their Ebi Gyoza from scratch.
Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup boiling water
Pinch of salt
Method
1, For the wrappers, mix 2 cups of plain flour, 1/2 cup of boiling water and a pinch of salt and knead for 10 minutes
2, Roll into log and cut 1cm pieces, roll these into circles from the middle outward
3, Mix the filling
4, Stuff the filling and seal in whichever way you prefer
5, Fry or steam, I prefer the fried option...
