This may seem strange, or maybe it doesn't.... but I wanted to use up some of yesterday's bolognese in a different way. I would normally have it on toast, or a jacket potato, or a pasta bake etc, which got me thinking of what else I could try...⠀

Using up the leftover pasta which I had already cooked I chopped this into strips, added a chicken stock cube to half of the already cooked bolognese I had left and then filled the pan up with boiling water. Cooked it for about 5 minutes, burnt my tongue trying to taste it quickly because I'm impatient and everything needs to be done yesterday... ⠀

But then throughly enjoyed it once it was at a temperature that I could manage!! ⠀

I'm not saying this isn't already a thing, because I'm sure it is somewhere but add it to your leftover ideas. Bank it and make sure you give it a go when you next have some bolognese leftovers 😃
